[Fiction] Re-merge - Chapter 2 - Zero Sum (Part 3)

So before the candle burns out, what will Twilight do?

Well which part do you think I would tell?

"Still can't get any message from Crystal Empire yet?"

"I tried sending them a lot of mails, but didn't get a single reply yet!" Spike says to Twilight.

"There's heavy fog all around Crystal Empire, and we can't get in!" Rainbow Dash says, "even my sonic rainboom can't clear the fog!"

"And anypony that teleported into the fog just didn't get out again!" Rarity says.

"I wish Cadance and my brother is good." Twilight says in a low voice.

Luna finds it harder and harder for her to get into everypony's dream. She has to fly near to anypony that has nightmare, in order to cure. Sometimes she even has to go to the moon and use the dream portal there. When Luna can't get back from moon in time, Twilight has to transform into her shape to lower down the moon while Luna is going back from the moon.

Twilight finds it harder and harder for her to keep an eye on everything important that happens in Equestria, because sending letters through magic gets more and more unstable, and the chance that the mail doesn't arrive has arisen significantly. In order to keep the communication between areas stable, she orders that there must be at least two magic amplification tower in each area for transmitting royal or emergency message.

"Do you think we should go home now? We haven't been home for more than 3 months!" Sweetie Belle says.

"If only we can still find the direction to go home ..." Scooterloo says.

"My big sister must be very worry about me. We usually go home once a month." Apple Bloom says.

"I still can't believe that we got lost even if we didn't go anywhere new." Sweetie Belle says.

"So should we continuously head towards the sun since we don't have other choice?" Apple Bloom suggests.

"This would be an exciting adventure." Scooterloo says.

"Come on, Scooterloo, we are lost! This ain't something exciting!" Sweetie Belle says.

"So, maybe we should start moving now? I mean, after we finish the lunch." Apple Bloom says.

The leaf of a banyan can change.

The thread on a needle can break.

The dirt on the ground can be wet.

But the sun does shine.

But the moon does glow.

But the polaris does blink.

This should be it for chapter two. We won't always have the same familiar things around, but we still have our way to deal with those problems around, I guess.

And so do them, I guess.

Now it's time to face what doesn't allow or require a preparation to.

Nope she has to fly there.

Well she can use magic to boost her speed, but still, she has to fly to the moon, not teleport to the moon, and that's pretty energy-consuming.

(Otherwise there would be no way Celestia could trap Nightmare Moon on the moon XD)

Still though, wouldn't she be able to do the same thing to get back? It takes a lot more energy to leave the planet than leave the moon. Of course the lack of atmosphere might traditional flying a bit harder. Or is Luna now stuck on the moon? She obviously isn't trapped on the moon.

The moon in "shelled" Equestria is an artifact, so gravity isn't quite the case. It's hard to reach the moon because it's so high up the sky, and traveling through a long distance is always tiring.

But if you just ask why wouldn't she do the same thing to get back, I'd rather say it's because of the plot. I would leave that for you to figure it out. And I think the reason is pretty easy to guess, just think of the shell, and Luna's statement before.

And, Luna isn't stuck on the moon. It's just that, you certainly can't get to somewhere 30,0000 KM away in mere seconds XD
